Modi Back to Business: PM Modi to Unveil Projects Worth Over Rs 9750 Crore in Rewari

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to spearhead a significant development drive in Rewari, Haryana, as he unveils a slew of projects totaling over Rs 9750 crore. The ambitious initiatives span transportation, healthcare, education, and cultural heritage, aiming to uplift the region and enhance the quality of life for its residents.

Scheduled for Friday, PM Modi’s visit will mark the commencement of several transformative endeavors. Among the highlights is the inauguration of the Gurugram Metro Rail project, a monumental undertaking with an estimated cost of Rs 5450 crore. Spanning 28.5 kilometers, the metro line will link the bustling Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-5, seamlessly integrating with the existing Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram network at Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City.

In a strategic move to bolster public health infrastructure, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rewari. With an investment of approximately Rs 1650 crore, the forthcoming AIIMS facility promises to be a beacon of modern healthcare delivery. It will boast a hospital complex with 720 beds, a medical college accommodating 100 students, a nursing college with 60 seats, and an AYUSH block with 30 beds. Additionally, the institution will provide residential and hostel facilities for faculty, staff, and students, along with essential amenities like night shelter, guest house, and auditorium.

Cultural enrichment finds a prominent place on the agenda with the inauguration of the Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar, Kurukshetra. The immersive museum, crafted at a cost of around Rs 240 crore, aims to bring to life the timeless narrative of the Mahabharata and the profound teachings of the Gita through innovative storytelling techniques. Augmented reality, 3D laser, and projection mapping will elevate the visitor experience, offering a deeper understanding of India’s rich cultural heritage.

On the transportation front, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for several pivotal railway projects, including the doubling of the Rewari-Kathuwas rail line, Kathuwas-Narnaul rail line, Bhiwani-Dobh Bhali rail line, and Manheru-Bawani Khera rail line. Furthermore, the inauguration of the Rohtak-Meham-Hansi rail line, spanning 68 kilometers, is poised to significantly reduce travel time between Rohtak and Hisar, thereby enhancing regional connectivity and facilitating smoother mobility for passengers.

The unveiling of these projects underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to fostering comprehensive development across the nation.
